I've been working as a communications consultant for many years. During that time, I've supported organisations of all sizes, from start-ups to household names. Over the last year I've been studying for a master's degree in Marketing and Digital Communications. That experience has given me the chance to step back and take a wider view. It helped me look not just at what I do, but how and why it works. As a result, I've defined a clearer and more focused offer that sits at the intersection of business consultancy, customer experience, engagement, communications, and marketing.

I call it Inside Out thinking.

Let me explain what Inside Out means...

Inside Out thinking is built on a simple idea: successful businesses are aligned from the inside out. That means your internal clarity, culture and communications come first. I don't create your business strategy - I help you articulate it with crystal clarity. When you understand your own story, you can tell it confidently to others.

A Bit About Me (Rachel).

My career began in retail and I worked in operations, marketing and communications, working with brands like Dixons, Boots, EE, easyJet, Nandos and Wagamama (among others). After holding senior leadership roles in internal communications and strategy, I went on to launch and grow my own award-winning retail business (with my husband, Paul), which we sold after four successful years.

Today, I am studying for a master’s degree in Marketing and Digital Communications, and I work with small business owners, founders and leadership teams who want their brand to be more than skin deep.

I live in Cornwall and run Inside Out Consulting from Fowey, working with clients across the UK.
